Our K-12 schools in the United States, whether public or private, have managed to cloak their dismal status behind a kind-of Disneyland facade and thereby avoid too much public scrutiny.

Even this facade has become tarnished in the public view but its advocates tell us that all will soon be well once some refurbishment has been undertaken.

We have reviewed and analyzed publicly available information to show some of the weaknesses in our current schools and in particular have been studying how our children perform with respect to grade levels.

An essential defect in most of our schools has been the practice of social promotion. An essential feature of Stellar Schools is their self-paced format that automatically prevents any social promotion.

Seeking better schools based on solid research

As part of the Stellar Schools effort to justify it raison d'etre we have generated a number of reports over the past five years that address many different kinds of relevant issues. In one group we have reports that are specifically focused on the development of Stellar Schools, while in the other group are reports more analytical in nature that explore public policy issues of relevance and associated reform strategies. Here follows descriptions of the various reports we have made available. Most of the reports were developed by Asora® Education Enterprises. Although some of their business planning is not applicable to the Stellar Schools Development Corporation's plans, most of the information is still relevant and thus we include it here.
